{Flutter}
“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it's true I'm here, and I'm just as strange as you.”
― Frida Kahlo
I think this quote by Frida is as beautiful as her paintings. I certainly can relate to wanting the connection to others who see the world and life the way I do. In the past I tucked it away and let it knaw at me. Delving into Art has opened me up... As I get older, and hopefully wiser and more authentic...I let my weirdness fly. And then, I don't feel so alone. I believe every person has there own special strangeness. It's part of the soul. It comes out in moments of vulnerability, stillness and love. And laughter. All I know, is I feel it, its wild energy...and when it happens it is pretty special. And I don't feel so alone and strange anymore. Strange is the new normal! This is all just free floating thoughts on self-actualization on this beautiful autumn Sunday.
