I'm sick, my husband is sick and I anticipate this will roll down the chain of command to the little ones. I also am leaving for Phoenix in two days.

I will attempt to get sessions and mini-sessions done by the time I leave however I cannot promise this will happen. You should receive your album by April 9th and will receive an additional 5x7 print to compensate for the delay.

What I love most about this job is the joy and I honor I get from witnessing all the small moments and details that are captured on camera during our short time together. They are only tiny snapshots of a family's life, connection and love for each other but amazing to experience. Everyone different, unique in its own way.

As I shift through what gets edited and presented I come across pictures for some reason or another I feel a real connection with in my own life. I call these my "Artist's Favorite." I picked this photograph because yesterday I took my five year old to her Kindergarten screening. She was so excited "she did not want to leave..." When I checked her in, I handed over her birth certificate. January 28, 2004....8:48am. I remember that moment in every detail and never imagined standing here so quickly. And now I feel a release that makes my heart happy, scared and excited all at once. I trust that it will be something beautiful. Just like these past five years.

Few announcements

The original open house I had scheduled for the weekend of 14th and 15th has been bumped to March 21 and 22nd due to life circumstance such as sick children. I'm sure lots of people out there can relate.

Also, if you are a teacher, para or secretary in a Pre-K to Senior High school please email me because I offer a special digital package discount to this group of people. As a former educator, I have real admiration for all the hard work these people do in our schools and want to offer my appreciation with this special. This does not include senior pictures or weddings.
