“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first.”

{Fine City} Minneapolis, MN Fine Art
“When you look at a city, it's like reading the hopes, aspirations and pride of everyone who built it.”
Hugh Newell Jacobsen
It has been awhile since I picked up my camera for the pure sake of a photo walk. I love the city and decided to take an urban walk around Downtown Minneapolis to really look and observe. It was lunchtime and full of city buzz, people, energy. All the stuff that inspires me to point and shoot. I was drawn to the hints of nature that were beautifully place among the high buildings, sidewalks and stores. The day was beautiful and it felt good to pick up the camera again. I feel a little lost when I don't do that.

{Everything I Ever Needed to Learn, I Learned in Kindergarten}
“I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.”
― Robert Fulghum, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten
