Hello from the Valley of the Sun
I haven't been updating my blog due to the fact that I forced myself only to bring my cameras with me to Arizona for business and pleasure and to leave the laptop and my beloved Lightroom and CS3 at home. I love photography in it's entirity. From meeting the clients, taking the pictures, uploading and editing but sometimes too much time in front of the computer can zap the creativity and cause a bit of burn out. To make a long story short, I am enjoying my vacation , recharging my creative juice and slowly feel a renewal as I rest and enjoy friends and leisure.
It's not all rest, while here I have photo shoots and have LOVED the one's I have done so far and looking forward to meeting new clients tomorrow and Sunday! What a great job I have.
For my Minnesota clients, I will be back in town Tuesday, April 7th. Those who are waiting on albums will have them by the end of the week. For clients waiting to place orders, I will process them immediately upon return.
I am excited to say that my photography is featured on the GenMarie Girl's clothing line blog. As many know I am a trunk keeper for the company but also love photographing children in these clothes because of how beautiful they are. Additionally, one of my biggest causes is supporting other small businesses especially those owned by hard working women and mothers. Christine, the owner and designer, is definitly one of those type of women. Her talent not only inspires my photography but personally, I have learned so much about business from working with her through this company as a sales represenative for the clothing. Her incredible advice, support and patience has been a true blessing. Thank you Christine a million times again.
